  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for Comcast's entertainment offerings.
  2. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our offerings are competitive and innovative.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential entertainment partnerships and opportunities.
  4. Lead the development of long-term goals and objectives for the entertainment department.
  5. Oversee the budgeting and financial planning for entertainment initiatives.
  6. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track the success of our entertainment offerings.
  7. Identify areas for growth and improvement, and implement strategies to drive business forward.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners and vendors.
  9. Stay informed on the latest technologies and platforms to enhance our entertainment offerings.
  10. Provide leadership and mentorship to the entertainment planning team.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
  12. Represent Comcast at industry events and conferences.
  13. Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on the entertainment department's progress and initiatives.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Comcast and its entertainment offerings.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Entertainment Industry: A Director Of Entertainment Planning At Comcast Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Working In The Entertainment Industry, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Market Analysis, And Successful Event Planning.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team, And Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Successful Project Management And The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As The Director Of Entertainment Planning, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Negotiating Contracts With Vendors, And Collaborating With Other Departments Within The Company. Therefore, Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Creative Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Entertainment Industry Is Constantly Evolving, And The Director Of Entertainment Planning Should Be Able To Think Creatively And Come Up With Innovative Ideas To Attract And Engage Audiences. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Abilities To Handle Unexpected Challenges And Ensure The Success Of Events And Initiatives.

  • Knowledge Of Budget Management: A Director Of Entertainment Planning Should Have Experience In Budget Management, Including Creating And Managing Budgets For Events And Initiatives. They Should Also Have The Ability To Analyze Financial Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Optimize Resources And Achieve Business Objectives.
