Director, Cloud FinOps and Capacity Planning

Comcast is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cloud FinOps and Capacity Planning to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving financial and operational planning and business intelligence for the entire cloud computing environment. In this role, you will be managing the cloud capacity and utilization, ensuring cost optimization, and improving the overall financial performance of the cloud. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical proficiency, financial acumen and business insight. The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of financial management, cloud architecture, and IT infrastructure. The role requires a strong leader capable of driving the financial and operational planning and business intelligence for the entire cloud computing environment.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field • 7+ years of experience in financial management and/or cloud operations, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role • Ability to drive financial and operational planning and business intelligence for the entire cloud computing environment • Proven track record of successful budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization • Demonstrated success in developing and managing cloud capacity and utilization • Ability to develop innovative solutions to improve the financial performance of the cloud • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams • Experience with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) a plus If you are a motivated and experienced leader with a passion for driving financial and operational planning and business intelligence for the cloud environment, we want to hear from you.
