You should also have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.   1. Provide legal counsel and guidance on privacy and information security matters to various departments and stakeholders within the company.
  2. Stay up-to-date on relevant privacy laws and regulations and ensure compliance with them.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to privacy and information security.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Review and negotiate contracts and agreements related to data privacy and security.
  6. Investigate and respond to privacy and security incidents, including data breaches.
  7. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on privacy and information security best practices.
  8. Advise on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Monitor industry developments and trends to proactively identify potential privacy and security risks.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to stay informed on privacy and security issues.
  11. Work with the legal team to develop and implement incident response plans.
  12. Conduct internal investigations and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed records of privacy and security incidents and responses.
  14. Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide privacy and security initiatives.
  15. Uphold ethical standards and promote a culture of privacy and security awareness within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Legal Privacy And Information Security, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Privacy Laws, Including Gdpr And Ccpa.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Privacy Compliance Programs, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership.
