Counsel, Commercial Services
At Comcast, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Counsel to join our Commercial Services team. As a Counsel for our company, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to our Commercial Services business unit. This includes advising on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters, as well as ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong legal background and a deep understanding of the commercial landscape. - Provide legal advice and guidance to the Commercial Services team on a variety of commercial and contractual matters, including but not limited to customer contracts, vendor agreements, and business partnerships.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the commercial landscape and industry trends to effectively advise on legal matters and identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks and provide solutions to help the company achieve its business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the Commercial Services business unit, and communicate any potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Support the development of company policies and procedures related to commercial and contractual matters.
- Effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of legal matters and projects with competing deadlines.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and other stakeholders on legal matters and best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including outside counsel and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards in all job-related activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance legal support for the Commercial Services team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Law, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Law, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.
Excellent Understanding Of Contract Law And Ability To Draft And Negotiate Complex Commercial Agreements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of The Telecommunications Industry And Experience Working With Regulatory Agencies Is Preferred.
