- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand image and support business objectives for Comcast.
- Create compelling and engaging content, including press releases, media pitches, and social media posts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists to secure media coverage and drive positive publicity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on PR opportunities, including product launches, company initiatives, and events.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for proactive communication.
- Serve as a company spokesperson and handle media inquiries and interview requests.
- Develop crisis communication plans and provide guidance and support during crisis situations.
- Manage and maintain PR budgets and track and report on PR campaign performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends to continuously improve PR strategies and tactics.
- Proactively identify and pursue speaking and award opportunities to elevate the company's thought leadership and reputation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communication channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, and influencers.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Comcast's products, services, and industry to effectively communicate key messages and value propositions.
- Mentor and train junior PR team members and interns.
- Adhere to company values and uphold ethical standards in all PR activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Public Relations, Preferably In The Telecommunications Or Media Industry.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Create Compelling Messaging And Press Releases.
Strong Understanding Of Media Relations, Including Building Relationships With Key Media Outlets And Reporters.
Experience Managing Crisis Communications And Handling Sensitive Issues With Poise And Professionalism.
