- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve and optimize our WiFi infrastructure.
- Lead a team of engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to WiFi networks.
- Design and implement new features and enhancements to our WiFi network to meet customer needs and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in WiFi technology.
- Regularly analyze network performance data and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with product managers to develop and execute product roadmaps for our WiFi services.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the development of new WiFi products and services.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated network issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for WiFi networks.
- Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
Extensive Experience In Wireless Networking: A Principal Wifi Engineer At Comcast Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Various Wireless Technologies, Including Wifi, Lte, And 5G. They Should Be Able To Design, Deploy, And Troubleshoot Complex Wireless Networks.
Strong Knowledge Of Network Infrastructure: A Principal Wifi Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Network Infrastructure Components Such As Routers, Switches, Firewalls, And Load Balancers. They Should Also Be Familiar With Network Protocols And Security Standards.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, They Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Overseeing Large-Scale Projects.
