1. Manage and oversee all aspects of outbound logistics operations for Colgate-Palmolive, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize outbound logistics processes and reduce costs.
3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and coordination of outbound logistics activities.
5. Lead a team of outbound logistics associates, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
6. Negotiate contracts and build relationships with third-party logistics providers to secure competitive rates and quality service.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing outbound logistics, including transportation, trade, and customs.
8. Manage and track inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure sufficient stock levels for outbound shipments.
9. Communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on outbound logistics operations and address any issues or concerns.
