- Conduct microbiological testing and analysis of raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement microbiological testing methods and procedures to continuously improve product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and enhancement by providing microbiological expertise and insights.
- Monitor and report on microbiological trends and issues, and make recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all microbiological testing and analysis results.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in microbiological testing methods and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve processes and procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to microbiological testing, and work with relevant departments to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including FDA, EPA, and OSHA.
- Train and mentor junior team members on microbiological testing procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, and follow all applicable safety protocols and procedures.
Bachelor's, Master's, Or Ph.d. Degree In Microbiology Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In The Consumer Goods Or Personal Care Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Microbiological Techniques And Methods, Including Aseptic Technique, Microbial Identification, And Environmental Monitoring.
Experience With Regulatory Requirements And Compliance, Such As Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp) And Iso Standards.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
