Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the Microbiology Lab and ensure quality standards are met at all times.
2. Perform laboratory testing and analysis efficiently and in a timely manner.
3. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies in good working order.
4. Ensure safety protocols are followed in the laboratory.
5. Train and mentor lab personnel in laboratory techniques and procedures.
6. Create and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
7. Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
8. Develop and implement new laboratory protocols and procedures.
9. Participate in laboratory meetings and present findings.
10. Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure proper functioning of the laboratory.
