As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Workday applications through thorough testing and analysis.   1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications for Workday applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify areas for testing.
  3. Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of Workday applications.
  4. Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects in a timely manner, following established processes and procedures.
  5. Monitor and track defects through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate updates to all stakeholders.
  6. Utilize automated testing tools and scripts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
  7. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improving software quality and reliability.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Workday testing and make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on testing methodologies and tools.
  10. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure a high level of quality across all Workday applications.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates, raise any issues or risks, and provide suggestions for improvement.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges in the testing process and propose solutions.
  13. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure that quality is built into the development process.
  14. Provide support during user acceptance testing and ensure all reported issues are resolved before release.
  15. Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable Workday applications.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge And Experience With Workday Hcm, Financials, And Integrations Modules, Including Understanding Of Underlying Data Structures And Business Processes.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading Successful Quality Assurance Initiatives, Including Developing Test Strategies, Designing Test Cases, And Executing Test Plans For Complex Workday Implementations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Testing Methodologies, Including Agile And Waterfall, And Experience With Industry-Standard Testing Tools Such As Hp Alm Or Jira.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team Of Quality Test Engineers And Coordinate With Project Stakeholders To Ensure Timely And Accurate Delivery Of Testing Deliverables.

  • Workday Certification In At Least One Module, Such As Hcm Or Financials, And A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Workday Quality Test Engineer Working On Medium To Large Scale Global Implementations.
