  1. Manage and maintain the Teradata environment to ensure its optimal performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Teradata database and applications.
  3. Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Implement security policies and procedures to safeguard the Teradata environment.
  5. Collaborate with team members to design and implement new database features and functionalities.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for Teradata systems, processes, and procedures.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Teradata tools, technologies, and best practices.
  9. Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Teradata systems.
  10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of Teradata with other systems.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members on Teradata administration and best practices.
  13. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues to maintain system stability and data integrity.
  14. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve any technical issues.
  15. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  16. Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the Teradata environment.
  17. Participate in project planning, execution, and testing related to Teradata systems.
  18. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to data security and privacy regulations.
  19. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system performance and any potential issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Teradata Administrator, With A Strong Understanding Of Teradata Architecture And Utilities.

  • Expertise In Database Performance Monitoring, Tuning, And Troubleshooting To Ensure Optimal System Performance.

  • Experience With Database Security And Ensuring Compliance With Data Privacy Regulations.

  • Proficiency In Teradata Database Backup And Recovery Strategies, Including Disaster Recovery Planning And Execution.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
