3. Implement and maintain security protocols for Teradata systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
4. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for Teradata databases.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data warehouse and analytics solutions for clients.
6. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of Teradata systems.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Teradata and make recommendations for implementation.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for Teradata systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
11. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance of Teradata systems.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices related to Teradata administration.
13. Train and mentor team members on Teradata administration best practices and procedures.
14. Handle multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
15. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to optimize Teradata system performance.
