Develop and maintain AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure for the organization.
Plan and implement new cloud solutions and services to meet business requirements.
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of existing cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and recommend their implementation to improve business operations.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all cloud architecture and processes.
Mentor and guide junior team members in their understanding and usage of AWS services.
Work closely with security teams to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely resolution to any production issues.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and status.
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Keep track of industry trends and developments related to AWS cloud computing and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Aws Cloud Infrastructure: A Sr. Aws Cloud Engineer At Cognizant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Aws Services Such As Ec2, S3, Rds, And Lambda. They Should Also Have Experience With Designing And Implementing Scalable And Highly Available Aws Solutions.
Strong Knowledge Of Devops Practices: Cognizant Is Looking For A Sr. Aws Cloud Engineer Who Has A Strong Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices. This Includes Experience With Automation, Configuration Management, And Infrastructure As Code Tools Such As Ansible, Chef, Or Puppet.
Expertise In Scripting And Programming Languages: A Sr. Aws Cloud Engineer Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Like Python, Bash, Or Powershell. They Should Also Have Experience With Coding Languages Like Java, C++, Or Go, As Well As The Ability To Write And Maintain Infrastructure As Code Using Tools Like Cloudformation Or Terraform.
Familiarity With Containerization And Orchestration: Cognizant Is Seeking A Sr. Aws Cloud Engineer Who Has Experience With Containerization Technologies Such As Docker And Orchestration Platforms Like Kubernetes. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Container-Based Solutions In An Aws Environment.
Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Sr. Aws Cloud Engineer, The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues Is Crucial. Cognizant Is Looking For Candidates Who Possess Strong Troubleshooting Skills And Can Effectively Communicate Solutions To Technical Problems.
