Lead and manage all Databricks projects within the organization, ensuring their successful completion within budget, scope, and timeline.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for all assigned Databricks projects.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Utilize strong technical knowledge of Databricks technology to guide and advise project team members.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, effectively managing client expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members, providing guidance and support on Databricks best practices and project management methodologies.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
Drive a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the Databricks team.
Conduct project post-mortems and share lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Databricks technology and project management.
Represent the organization at conferences, events, and client meetings, showcasing our capabilities in Databricks projects.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new Databricks project opportunities.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience Managing Complex Projects: A Senior Project Manager At Databricks Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Projects, Preferably In The Field Of Data Analytics Or Related Technologies. They Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies.
Proficiency In Databricks Platform: As A Senior Project Manager At Cognizant, The Candidate Should Possess Advanced Knowledge And Experience In Working With Databricks Platform, Including Its Various Components Such As Spark, Delta Lake, And Mlflow.
