Design and implement Cisco SD-WAN networks for clients, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing Cisco SD-WAN networks to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
Stay up to date with the latest networking trends and technologies to continuously improve and enhance our services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and provide customized solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Cisco SD-WAN, providing guidance and support to other team members and clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on project progress.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
Conduct regular network performance evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.
Lead network infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
Provide training and support to junior network engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
Continuously monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Stay updated with industry best practices and standards, ensuring compliance in all network engineering activities.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining data security and confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Cisco Sd-Wan: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Cisco Sd-Wan Solutions, Including Design, Implementation, And Troubleshooting.
Strong Networking Background: A Senior Network Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Networking Concepts, Protocols, And Technologies Such As Tcp/Ip, Bgp, Ospf, Mpls, Etc.
Cisco Certifications: Cognizant Prefers Candidates With A Valid Cisco Certified Network Professional (Ccnp) Or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Ccie) Certification. These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Expertise And Practical Knowledge In Cisco Technologies.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Network Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Delivering Complex Network Projects. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Such As Planning, Organizing, And Resource Management, Are Essential For This Role.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Clients, And Vendors.
