Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for investment banking software solutions.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough and accurate testing.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and potential issues.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and identify testing needs.
Lead a team of QA testers and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality testing.
Monitor and track defects, report and prioritize them based on severity, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Utilize automation tools and techniques to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Identify and communicate risks and issues related to the testing process and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and incorporate them into the testing process.
Document and maintain testing artifacts and ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
Represent the QA team in client meetings and provide updates on the testing progress and results.
Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Adhere to deadlines and manage priorities effectively to meet project timelines.
Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality assurance.

Job Qualifications

Strong Knowledge Of Investment Banking Processes: A Qa Test Lead At Cognizant Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Investment Banking Processes, Including Front, Middle, And Back Office Operations. This Knowledge Is Essential In Order To Effectively Design And Execute Test Cases That Accurately Reflect The Needs Of The Investment Banking Industry.
Experience With Regulatory Compliance: The Investment Banking Industry Is Heavily Regulated, And A Qa Test Lead Must Be Well-Versed In The Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines That Govern This Sector. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulations Such As Mifid Ii, Dodd-Frank, And Gdpr.
Proficiency In Testing Tools And Methodologies: A Successful Qa Test Lead At Cognizant Must Have Experience With A Variety Of Testing Tools And Methodologies, Including Manual And Automated Testing. They Should Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Tools Such As Selenium, Jira, And Hp Alm, And Have The Ability To Select And Implement The Most Appropriate Tool For Each Project.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Test Lead, This Role Will Require Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience Leading A Team Of Qa Testers And Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Timely And Accurate Delivery Of Testing Projects.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Qa Test Lead, As They Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Such As Developers, Business Analysts, And Project Managers.
