Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes for investment banking software solutions.
Lead a team of QA testers and provide direction, guidance, and support in achieving project goals.
Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality and reliability of software solutions.
Identify and report any defects or issues found during testing, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and project managers to provide updates on testing progress and any potential risks or delays.
Conduct thorough reviews of requirements and functional specifications to ensure they are testable and meet business needs.
Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to define and prioritize test scenarios.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improve QA processes and procedures.
Mentor and train junior QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of testing.

Strong Knowledge Of Investment Banking Processes: A Qa Test Lead At Cognizant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Investment Banking Processes, Including Trade Lifecycle, Risk Management, And Regulatory Compliance. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Developing Effective Testing Strategies And Ensuring High-Quality Software Releases.
Experience With Testing Tools And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Various Testing Tools And Methodologies, Such As Agile, Waterfall, And Devops. They Should Also Possess Expertise In Automation Testing Tools Like Selenium, Jira, And Hp Alm, As Well As Knowledge Of Sql Databases And Scripting Languages.
