We at Cognizant are looking for an experienced and talented QA Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for quality assurance and be able to drive innovation throughout the QA process. This person should be an analytical, organized, and self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys a challenge.The QA Lead will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies, creating and maintaining automation scripts, and optimizing test coverage. This individual will also be tasked with providing guidance and mentorship to team members, as well as ensuring that the organization meets quality assurance standards.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QA with strong knowledge of software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. They should have experience with manual and automated testing, as well as experience with bug tracking tools. Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for software applications.
Create and maintain automation scripts and optimize test coverage.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Ensure that the organization meets quality assurance standards.
Manually and/or automatedly test software applications.
Utilize bug tracking tools to ensure proper bug resolution.
Maintain a strong understanding of software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Communicate effectively and solve problems as they arise.
