Job Description

Cognizant is looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team. The successful candidate will be a results-driven problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and creating automated scripts for manual tests. You will work closely with the QA team to ensure that all software products are thoroughly tested and released with the highest quality.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques, a good understanding of software development processes, and experience with source code version control. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high quality software products and a deep understanding of the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and create automated scripts for manual tests.
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that all software products are thoroughly tested and released with the highest quality.
Utilize automated testing tools and techniques.
Work with development teams to ensure software development processes are followed.
Manage source code version control.
Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards.
Identify and debug software defects.
Demonstrate a passion for delivering high quality software products.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in software development and automated testing.
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions.
