We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Programmer Analyst to join the Cognizant team. The Programmer Analyst will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the company's software applications and information systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for programming and problem solving to make a real impact on the success of our organization.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have a minimum of three years of experience in software development and database design. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python is also essential. The ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies is highly desirable. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and information systems.
Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software applications.
Identify and resolve software defects.
Develop unit tests and ensure code quality.
Create and document software design specifications.
Develop and implement software best practices.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Stay abreast of emerging software technologies and industry trends.
Provide technical support for software applications.
