Oversee the successful execution of complex and high-profile projects for clients.
Manage and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential roadblocks or issues.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Utilize project management methodologies and best practices to drive results and meet project objectives.
Identify and mitigate project risks, providing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
Lead and facilitate project meetings and discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all project tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Continuously assess and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster an innovative and collaborative work environment, promoting team cohesion and a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Program Management: The Ideal Candidate For A Program Manager Sr Lead Position At Cognizant Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Program Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Large And Complex Programs.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Program Manager Sr Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Project Managers And Coordinating With Various Stakeholders. Therefore, Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Project Management Certification: Cognizant Prefers Candidates Who Hold A Project Management Certification Such As Pmp (Project Management Professional) Or Pgmp (Program Management Professional), Which Demonstrates Their Knowledge And Expertise In The Field.
Technical Background: While Not Always Necessary, Having A Technical Background Or Understanding Of The It Industry Can Be Beneficial For A Program Manager Sr Lead At Cognizant. This Will Enable The Candidate To Better Understand And Communicate With The Technical Teams Working On The Program.
Experience In Agile Methodology: Cognizant Is Known For Its Agile Approach To Project Management. Therefore, Candidates With Experience In Agile Methodology, Such As Scrum Or Kanban, Will Have An Advantage In Securing This Role.
