Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced OT Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at Cognizant. As the Director of OT Cybersecurity, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and protection of our clients' operational technology (OT) environments. Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies for OT environments in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the subject matter expert for OT cybersecurity, staying up-to-date on the latest trends, threats, and solutions in the field.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments of clients' OT systems to identify potential security gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions for OT systems, including network segmentation, access controls, and intrusion detection.
Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects.
Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients, executives, and team members.
Conduct regular training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay informed of emerging cybersecurity technologies and evaluate their potential applications in OT environments.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our expertise in OT cybersecurity.
Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of OT cybersecurity measures and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Cybersecurity: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Cybersecurity, With A Strong Understanding Of Ot (Operational Technology) Systems And Their Unique Security Challenges.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Ot Cybersecurity, Such As Nist, Iec 62443, And Iso 27001, Is Essential For The Role.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Oversee And Guide A Team Of Cybersecurity Professionals, As Well As Effectively Communicate With Clients And Stakeholders.
Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities: The Ot Cybersecurity Sme - Director Should Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Identify And Mitigate Potential Security Risks In Complex Ot Environments.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: Effective Communication And Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Clients, And Vendors Is Crucial For Success In This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively To Implement Cybersecurity Solutions.
