Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and propose innovative ideas for improving existing processes.
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform model development.
Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and model training.
Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for maximum performance and accuracy.
Conduct regular testing and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of the models.
Communicate technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to deploy machine learning models into production.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models and make necessary adjustments.
Document and maintain code, processes, and best practices for future reference.
Mentor and train junior team members on machine learning techniques and best practices.
Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during model development or deployment.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and solutions for business problems.
Stay updated with industry trends and developments in machine learning and contribute to the company's thought leadership in this area.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of Machine Learning Algorithms And Techniques: Machine Learning Engineers At Cognizant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Machine Learning Algorithms Such As Linear Regression, Decision Trees, And Neural Networks. They Should Also Be Familiar With Techniques Such As Feature Engineering, Model Selection, And Hyperparameter Tuning.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: Candidates Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Java, As Well As Tools Like Tensorflow, Pytorch, And Scikit-Learn. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Manipulation And Analysis Using Sql, Pandas, And Numpy.
Experience With Big Data Technologies: As Cognizant Deals With Large And Complex Datasets, Machine Learning Engineers Should Have Experience Working With Big Data Technologies Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Mapreduce. Familiarity With Cloud Computing Platforms Like Aws, Google Cloud, Or Azure Is Also Desirable.
Strong Mathematical And Statistical Background: A Solid Understanding Of Linear Algebra, Calculus, And Statistics Is Essential For A Machine Learning Engineer At Cognizant. They Should Be Able To Apply These Concepts To Develop And Evaluate Machine Learning Models.
