  1. Design and implement automated test scripts for clients' APIs using Java programming language.
  2. Lead a team of Java developers and testers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality API automation solutions.
  3. Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand requirements and design efficient testing strategies for their APIs.
  4. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in software development and testing to continuously improve our processes and methodologies.
  5. Mentor and train team members on API testing and automation techniques.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that arise during the testing process.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results to project stakeholders.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as development and operations, to ensure smooth integration and deployment of automated tests.
  9. Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of automated tests.
  10. Proactively identify and communicate any potential risks or roadblocks in the testing process.
  11. Take ownership of the overall quality of the API testing process and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Stay organized and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert for API testing and automation within the organization.
  14. Collaborate with other leads and managers to ensure consistency and alignment across projects and teams.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Java Programming Language: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Core Java Concepts Such As Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, And Algorithms. They Should Also Be Familiar With Advanced Java Features Such As Multi-Threading And Generics.

  • Extensive Experience In Api Automation: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Api Automation Testing Using Popular Frameworks Such As Rest Assured Or Postman. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Api Testing Principles, Tools, And Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Automation Testing Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Automation Testing Tools Such As Selenium, Cucumber, Or Junit. They Should Also Have Experience In Building Test Automation Frameworks From Scratch.

  • Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Development Environment And Be Familiar With Scrum Or Kanban Methodologies. They Should Also Have Experience In Using Tools Such As Jira Or Trello For Project Management.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading A Team Of Automation Engineers And Be Able To Mentor And Guide Them. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Project Updates To Stakeholders.
