Job Description

Manage, resolve, and escalate reported incidents and problems for the Applications and databases. Perform root-cause analysis for Priority Level 1 or Priority Level 2 problems, document it for approvals. Perform Batch monitoring, handle service requests, provide technical support and notification to users through agreed channel without impact to business. Perform data analysis and reporting based on user requests and support scheduled customer report processing. Involve in software system health spot checks, infrastructure and tool assessment and coordinate upgrades for continued system improvement whenever necessary. Execute day to day project activities by tasks, liaise with Cognizant’s offshore development and quality assurance teams, business analysts, external service providers and other stakeholders as required for issue resolution and prevention.

Job Qualifications

Hands on coding experience in Oracle PL/SQL , Teradata and MAXL, MDX, Smart View, Customization using VB Scripting.
6+ years of related work experience
Ability to research and communicate technical issues, conduct discussions, and influence decisions.
Knowledge of accounting principles
