We at Cognizant are looking for a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Lead Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes to join our growing IT team. As a DevOps Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the applications and infrastructure needed to support our business operations. You will be integral in driving the development and implementation of our systems.This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with a variety of technologies and able to collaborate well with others. As the successful candidate, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for developing innovative solutions.The successful candidate must have:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash• Experience with Git version control• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK and Prometheus• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsIf you have a passion for technology and a strong desire to develop innovative solutions, we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain DevOps solutions for various applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with IT team members to create and implement cloud-based solutions that adhere to organizational standards
Monitor and maintain system performance, reliability, and security
Create and implement scripts to automate tasks and maintain system stability
Troubleshoot and debug application and infrastructure issues
Implement and maintain Git version control
Monitor and maintain logging and monitoring tools
Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance and scalability
Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps solutions
Maintain and update knowledge of industry trends and best practices in DevOps engineering
