Lead the Automotive Manufacturing & Logistics practice, providing strategic direction and managing day-to-day operations.
Develop and maintain relationships with top automotive companies, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for consulting services.
Drive innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing and logistics processes for clients, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver consulting offerings that meet client requirements and drive business growth.
Manage and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the automotive industry, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
Work closely with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing proposals and presentations to showcase Cognizant's capabilities.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in automotive manufacturing and logistics, and incorporate them into consulting solutions.
Ensure project timelines and budgets are met, and deliverables are of high quality, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Act as a thought leader, representing Cognizant at industry events and conferences, and publishing articles and whitepapers.
Collaborate with other consulting directors to share best practices, drive consistency in approach and delivery, and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
Contribute to the development and implementation of overall business strategy and goals for the consulting practice.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, fostering a culture of high-performance and continuous learning.
Maintain a strong understanding of Cognizant's offerings and capabilities, and leverage them to deliver value to clients.
Uphold the company's values and code of conduct, ensuring ethical and professional behavior at all times.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Industry Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Automotive Manufacturing And Logistics Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Delivering Consulting Projects In This Domain.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Consulting Director, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Business Problems For Clients In The Automotive Sector. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans, Conducting Market Analysis, And Identifying Growth Opportunities.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Consultants. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies And Be Able To Drive Projects To Successful Completion Within The Given Timelines And Budget.
Knowledge Of Emerging Technologies: With The Automotive Industry Constantly Evolving, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Emerging Technologies Such As Industry 4.0, Internet Of Things (Iot), And Artificial Intelligence (Ai). This Will Enable Them To Provide Innovative Solutions To Clients And Stay Ahead Of The Competition.
Excellent Communication And Client Management Skills: As A Key Representative Of Cognizant, The Consulting Director Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Clients. They Should Also Possess Strong Presentation Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Ideas And Recommendations To Stakeholders At All Levels.
