Develop and maintain Azure-based solutions for our clients, including designing, implementing, and optimizing DevOps processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates and ARM PowerShell.
Monitor and maintain Azure environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Automate and streamline deployment processes using Azure DevOps tools.
Work closely with developers to ensure code is properly built, tested, and deployed.
Act as a subject matter expert in Azure DevOps, providing guidance and best practices to the team.
Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders, including providing recommendations for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and Azure.
Mentor and train team members on Azure DevOps processes and best practices.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all solutions.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of solutions within budget.

Job Qualifications

Proficiency In Azure Devops Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Various Azure Devops Tools And Technologies, Including Visual Studio, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, And More.
Experience With Agile Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Be Able To Effectively Implement Them In The Development Process. This Includes Experience With Scrum, Kanban, And Other Agile Frameworks.
Knowledge Of Cloud Infrastructure: As An Azure Devops Engineer, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Infrastructure, Specifically Microsoft Azure. This Includes Experience With Azure Resource Manager, Azure Virtual Machines, And Other Relevant Services.
Strong Automation Skills: Automation Is A Critical Aspect Of Devops, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Automating Processes And Tasks Using Tools Such As Powershell, Arm Templates, And Azure Cli.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Working As An Azure Devops Engineer At Cognizant Requires Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. The Candidate Should Possess The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams And Collaborate With Stakeholders To Deliver High-Quality Solutions.
