Job Description

At Cognizant, we are actively seeking an AWS Cloud Migration Expert to join our team and help us move our clients’ IT environments to the cloud. We are looking for a person with strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. As an AWS Cloud Migration Expert, you will be responsible for leading the assessment, migration, deployment, and optimization of our clients’ applications into the cloud. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and understanding the impact of cloud migration on our clients’ existing IT infrastructure.The ideal candidate for this position will have strong experience with AWS cloud migration and a passion for helping customers transition to the cloud. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to think strategically and tactically, and a demonstrated commitment to staying current with cloud technologies. Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud migration• Knowledge of cloud migration best practices and processes• Expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash• Experience with DevOps and automation tools• Excellent problem-solving skills• Strong customer service orientation• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Lead the assessment, migration, deployment, and optimization of our clients’ applications into the cloud.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and understand the impact of cloud migration on our clients’ existing IT infrastructure.
Demonstrate a commitment to staying current with cloud technologies.
Develop and implement AWS cloud migration best practices and processes.
Utilize AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
Create scripts using Python and Bash.
Utilize DevOps and automation tools.
Apply problem-solving skills to customer service issues.
Provide excellent written and verbal communication.
