Develop and implement automated test scripts and scenarios to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test cases that align with business needs.
Execute automated and manual testing and report any defects or issues found during the testing process.
Continuously monitor and improve test coverage and efficiency through the use of automation tools and techniques.
Actively participate in agile development processes and contribute to the overall improvement of the testing methodology.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in testing and automation.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and any potential risks or issues.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to identify root causes and provide recommendations for resolution.
Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and other testing artifacts.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the overall quality of software deliverables.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of Software Testing Principles And Methodologies: Automation Test Analysts At Cognizant Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of Various Software Testing Techniques And Methodologies Such As Agile, Waterfall, And Devops.
Experience With Automation Testing Tools: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Popular Automation Testing Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, And Cucumber. They Should Also Be Familiar With Scripting Languages Like Java, Python, Or Javascript.
Knowledge Of Test Automation Frameworks: Automation Test Analysts Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Test Automation Frameworks Such As Bdd, Data-Driven, And Keyword-Driven Frameworks. They Should Also Be Able To Design And Implement New Frameworks As Per Project Requirements.
Experience With Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd): In Today's Fast-Paced Software Development Environment, It Is Essential For Automation Test Analysts To Have Experience With Ci/Cd Processes And Tools Such As Jenkins, Git, And Docker.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: As A Key Member Of The Testing Team, Automation Test Analysts Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues In The Software. They Should Also Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Think Critically To Improve The Overall Quality Of The Product.
