As the Associate Director - Procurement Sourcing at Cognizant, you will be responsible for driving the company's sourcing strategies and initiatives in order to obtain the best value for our investments. You will lead a team of sourcing specialists and be a key partner in the procurement process. This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a passion for seeking out the most cost-effective and high-value solutions. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, as well as experience leading teams and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure best value investments.
Lead and manage a team of sourcing specialists.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
Analyze market trends and identify cost-savings opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
Implement and maintain compliance with procurement policies.
Monitor the procurement process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
Track and report on procurement metrics.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
