Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Administrator to join our growing team at Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ab Initio technology and must possess the capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.The Ab Initio Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and expertise on Ab Initio technologies. The Administrator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Ab Initio-based systems and processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Ab Initio architecture and processes, and have the technical ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field• At least 5 years of experience working with Ab Initio technologies• Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2• Deep understanding of UNIX/LINUX systems and scripting languages• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you have the skills and experience necessary to excel in this role, we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and expertise on Ab Initio technologies.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Ab Initio-based systems and processes.
Troubleshoot Ab Initio-related issues quickly and efficiently.
Design and implement Ab Initio solutions for various business needs.
Create and maintain documentation related to Ab Initio processes and systems.
Monitor and optimize Ab Initio performance and stability.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure Ab Initio projects adhere to best practices.
Assist with training and mentoring of junior Ab Initio administrators.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Ab Initio technologies, trends, and best practices.
