Job Description

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and organized Associate Merchandise Planner to join our team at Club Monaco. This individual will be a key member of the Merchandise Planning team, working closely with multiple departments to ensure merchandise plans and strategies are executed correctly and profitably. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for the fashion industry, extensive experience in merchandise planning and inventory management, and a strong understanding of the retail landscape. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop merchandise plans and strategies to maximize profitability and align with business objectives
  2. Analyze sales data to identify trends and insights, and recommend strategies to capitalize on opportunities
  3. Forecast inventory needs and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
  4. Monitor store performance and adjust plans accordingly
  5. Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Design, Buying, Visual Merchandising) to ensure strategies are executed correctly
  6. Track and monitor merchandise performance and identify areas for improvement
  7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors
  8. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
  9. Prepare and present reports on department performance and objectives
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
