
Low-Voltage Electrician
This role Installs, maintains and services low voltage electrical systems at 120 volts and below by repairing, maintaining, testing and installing fire alarms, intrusion alarms, card access systems, HVAC controls and other electronic systems. Troubleshooting electrical problems by various industry standard procedures and test instruments associated with procedures such as Ohm meters, meggers, O scopes, db meters, computers, programmers. Repairing and troubleshooting associated circuits and electronic components as applicable. Testing all low voltage circuits and components associated with equipment 120 VAC and below. Bending conduits, installing metal raceway systems and non-metallic raceway systems. Reading, following, and applying logically information from schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, instruction manuals, operator guides, etc.
Five years’ experience demonstrating the ability to apply the techniques of the trade
Possess Fire/Life Safety Certification from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations.
