
Telecommunicator Support Specialist

- Provide support to 911 dispatchers during emergency situations.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working in a high-stress environment.
- Effectively communicate with emergency responders and other team members to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new telecommunicators.
- Monitor and maintain emergency communication systems and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date on all emergency protocols and procedures.
- Work closely with other support specialists and dispatchers to ensure efficient and effective emergency response.
- Provide accurate and timely information to emergency responders and agencies as needed.
- Remain attentive and responsive to all incoming emergency calls.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency of emergency response.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to emergency response and public safety.
- Collaborate with community members and organizations to promote public safety and emergency preparedness.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and records.
- Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In A Call Center Or Customer Service Role
