
Learning and Development Analyst

- Design and develop training programs that align with the City of Tucson's learning and development goals and objectives.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to gather information and develop training content.
- Utilize various instructional methods and tools to deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of programs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Create and maintain training materials, resources, and documentation.
- Communicate with employees and managers to promote training programs and encourage participation.
- Monitor and track employee progress and performance following training.
- Collaborate with HR team members to support employee development and career growth opportunities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to learning and development.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal stakeholders and external training providers.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on training program participation, completion, and effectiveness.
- Continuously seek feedback and make adjustments to training programs to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Coach Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Organizational Development, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Learning And Development Role, Preferably In A Government Or Municipal Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Techniques.
Proficiency In Learning Management Systems And E-Learning Development Tools.
