
Instrumentation and Control Technician

- Ensuring the proper functioning and safety of all instrumentation and control systems.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to identify and address any potential issues.
- Responding to emergency situations and performing repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for all instrumentation and control systems.
- Utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to coordinate work and address any concerns.
- Staying up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in instrumentation and control technology.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians and providing guidance on complex maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems.
Knowledge Of Instrumentation And Control Systems: Candidates Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of Various Types Of Instrumentation And Control Systems, Including Plcs, Dcs, Scada, And Hmi.
Experience With Troubleshooting And Maintenance: Applicants Should Have Hands-On Experience In Troubleshooting And Repairing Instrumentation And Control Systems, As Well As Performing Preventive Maintenance Tasks.
Electrical And Electronic Skills: A Strong Background In Electrical And Electronic Principles Is Essential For This Role, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Schematics And Wiring Diagrams.
