Develop and implement innovative and effective information technology solutions to meet the evolving needs of the City of Tucson.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Create and maintain system architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and project plans.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, security, and performance of existing systems.
Lead the development and implementation of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any potential issues or vulnerabilities.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the City's IT systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners to support the City's IT initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of the City's IT infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements as needed.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Implementing It Solutions.
Strong Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems, Databases, And Programming Languages.
Experience With Cloud Computing, Virtualization, And Network Infrastructure.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Internal Teams And External Stakeholders.
