
Human Resources Technician

- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations, processing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, benefits, and employment history.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures, including benefits, time off, and leave of absence.
- Coordinate and administer employee training and development programs.
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information.
- Assist with performance management processes, including maintaining performance review schedules and ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct exit interviews and compile data for analysis and improvement of employee satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with HR best practices and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to plan and execute employee engagement events and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all employees and departments.
- Continuously strive to improve and streamline HR processes and procedures to enhance the overall employee experience.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations.
2-3 Years Of Experience In A Human Resources Role, Preferably In A Government Or Municipal Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels.
Experience With Hris Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
