
Human Resources Analyst

- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform human resources strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with department leaders and HR team members to identify and solve complex HR issues.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends to inform HR strategies.
- Create and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
- Support the recruitment and selection process by analyzing data and making recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and deliver presentations and reports to communicate HR data and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training programs to support employee development and engagement.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy laws.
- Proactively identify potential HR issues and recommend solutions to promote a positive work environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior HR team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Represent the City of Tucson in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Government Or Municipal Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Individuals And Groups.
