We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to join our team and lead our efforts in protecting the city's digital assets. As the CISO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our information and technology systems from potential threats. Develop and implement an overall information security strategy for the city, in alignment with industry best practices and compliance regulations.
Oversee the management of all security systems and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective in protecting the city's digital assets.
Monitor and analyze potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to prevent and mitigate risks.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
Lead the incident response team in the event of a security breach, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Stay informed on the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of security systems.
Educate and train employees on information security awareness and best practices to maintain a strong security culture within the organization.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance security capabilities and stay updated on emerging threats.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of the city's information security, including any potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Job Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Information Security, Including Management Roles.
Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Information Security, Such As Iso 27001 And Nist.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Information Security Professionals.
Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders To Ensure The Security Of City Systems And Data.
