  1. Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
  2. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  3. Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
  4. Collaborate with department managers to identify and address HR needs and concerns.
  5. Manage recruitment and hiring processes, including creating job postings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  7. Facilitate new employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  8. Administer and monitor employee benefits programs.
  9. Assist with developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  10. Stay current on HR best practices and regulatory changes and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and open communication.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  13. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service to employees and external stakeholders.
  16. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
  17. Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  18. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure the City remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
  19. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR budgets.
  20. Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related inquiries and issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Government Or Municipal Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Employment And Labor.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Employees At All Levels.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Recruitment, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, And Performance Management.
