Job Description

The City of St. Louis is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to join our growing team. The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing the City’s grant programs and ensuring that they are administered in accordance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in grants management and experience managing a variety of grants. We’re looking for a professional with an eye for detail and a commitment to helping the City optimize our grant funding.To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of the grant management process. Additionally, you should have a passion for developing innovative ways to maximize grant opportunities and help the City make the best use of our available funds. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the City’s grant programs and ensure that they are administered in accordance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Develop innovative ways to maximize grant opportunities and help the City make the best use of available funds.
  3. Monitor grant progress and compliance with applicable regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other City departments to identify grant opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  5. Provide accurate and timely reporting on grant activities and progress.
  6. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of grants.
  7. Keep abreast of trends and best practices in grant management.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all grant activities.
  9. Provide training and technical assistance to City staff related to grant management.
  10. Assist with the preparation of grant applications.
