- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city facilities, including but not limited to, buildings, grounds, equipment, and fixtures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
- Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed while performing maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major repairs or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any supply needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all city policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with colleagues and members of the community.
- Attend training and development programs to stay updated on maintenance techniques and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Uphold the city's standards of excellence in customer service and workmanship.
- Follow proper safety protocols and use protective equipment when needed.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline maintenance processes to increase efficiency.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Facilities Maintenance Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Building Systems Including Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Security.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Blueprints.
Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Independently Or As Part Of A Team.
