- Provide administrative support to the legal team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments, and responding to emails and phone calls.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and motions, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct legal research and compile information for cases as needed.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing and preparing exhibits and other materials.
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and track deadlines and appointments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with billing and invoicing for legal services rendered.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and privileged information.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the legal team.
- Collaborate with other legal secretaries and staff to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the legal team.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Legal Secretary Or In A Related Legal Field
Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Legal Software
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills
