11. Oversee the City's insurance claims process and work with insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
12. Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address risk-related legal matters.
13. Train and supervise risk management staff to ensure efficient and effective risk management practices.
14. Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning to mitigate potential risks to the City and its residents.
15. Serve as a liaison between the City and external agencies, such as auditors and regulatory bodies, on risk management matters.
16. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
17. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to risk management activities.
18. Foster a culture of risk awareness and prevention throughout the organization.
19. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
