Job Description

Welcome to the City of Santa Clara, where we are committed to keeping our community safe and thriving. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Reserve Firefighters. As a Reserve Firefighter, you will have the opportunity to serve your community and make a meaningful impact by responding to emergency calls, conducting fire prevention activities, and providing support to our full-time firefighters.   1. Respond to emergency calls: As a Reserve Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner. This includes assessing the situation, providing necessary aid and support, and ensuring the safety of the community and fellow firefighters.
  2. Conduct fire prevention activities: Along with responding to emergencies, Reserve Firefighters will also be responsible for conducting fire prevention activities.
