Sports Specialist (Recreation Specialist)

The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and highly organized professional with strong administrative skills.This position assists with the delivery of services and activities related to a wide variety of sports programs, sports facility rentals and maintenance, participant registrations, program monitoring and evaluation, and supervising staff for quality performance and compliance with policy and procedures. This position will assess and process registrations fees, coordinate sports facility rentals including processing reservation permits and collecting fees while performing related duties and responsibilities that support overall sports operations.
