High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Assistant At City Of San Mateo Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Educational Proficiency.
Knowledge Of Basic Maintenance Tasks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Basic Maintenance Tasks Such As Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical Work, And General Repairs.
Experience With Tools And Equipment: Prior Experience Using A Variety Of Tools And Equipment Commonly Used In Maintenance Work, Such As Drills, Saws, And Wrenches, Is Highly Desirable.
Physical Strength And Stamina: This Job May Require Lifting Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods, And Working In Various Weather Conditions, So Physical Strength And Stamina Are Important Qualifications.
