  • Develop and implement engaging programs for youth in the community.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with youth and their families.
  • Utilize your knowledge of youth development principles to design effective programs.
  • Coordinate with community organizations and schools to expand program offerings.
  • Develop and manage program budgets and secure necessary funding.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and program staff.

  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth in the community.
  • Stay informed on trends and issues affecting youth in the community and incorporate them into program planning.
  • Actively participate in community outreach to promote and expand youth program offerings.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all program participants.
  • Continuously assess and respond to the needs and interests of youth in the community.
  • Represent the City of San Luis Obispo at community events and meetings related to youth services.
  • Support and adhere to all city policies and procedures related to program operations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance program offerings and personal growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Social Work, Child Development, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least Two Years Of Experience Working With Youth In A Community-Based Setting.

  • Experience In Program Planning, Implementation, And Evaluation.
